INTERNAL DRAFT — NOT FINAL LEGAL WORDING

Customer trust & legal preview

This page reflects the current AI-first MOREWORK product so the final UK terms and privacy documents can be prepared from what the service actually does. Final wording still needs the missing business details filled in and professional UK legal/privacy review before paid scale-up.

Your facts.AI suggestions do not silently become job claims, qualifications or work history.
Your approval.Marketing is not published until the exact version is approved.
Your decision.Find Work can search, compare and prepare; the customer submits applications themselves.

Core customer promises already reflected in the product

  • MOREWORK does not ask customers to hand over social-media passwords; connected accounts use the platform's own authorised sign-in flow.
  • Customer workspaces and connected-account mappings remain separated by business/user permissions.
  • Uploaded job photographs remain the customer's content, subject to the limited rights needed to process, render and publish customer-approved marketing.
  • Photo interpretation is provisional. The customer confirms the real work before factual advert claims are created.
  • The exact marketing version shown for approval is the version authorised for publishing to the selected connected destinations.
  • Find Work does not invent vacancies and does not submit applications on the customer's behalf.
  • Work Profile comparison and Application Helper may use only customer-confirmed profile facts; missing qualifications or experience must not be invented.
  • Customers can self-delete their Work Profile, saved Work Search and opportunity-history data through authenticated owner-only controls.

Privacy Notice — current data map

Account and business data

Sign-in/account identifiers, business name and contact details, trade/profession, service area, brand preferences, subscription/trial status, connected-channel state, security/audit records and support information.

Marketing and customer-work data

Customer-entered job facts, private source notes, uploaded photographs/media, AI suggestions, marketing drafts, artwork, version history, approvals, publishing selections/results, enquiries, estimated lead values and review-request records.

Find Work data

Natural-language vacancy searches and derived search filters where needed to perform the search, saved Work Search preferences, the customer's self-written Work Profile, saved/seen vacancy identifiers and customer-recorded opportunity/application states. Vacancy content itself comes from connected external job sources.

AI processing

Only the information needed for a requested AI feature should be sent to the configured AI provider. Current OpenAI Responses API calls are configured with store:false. General business chat deliberately excludes customer phone/email and enquiry message content. Private job source notes are stripped before job-advert AI calls. The final privacy notice must name the production AI processor and accurately describe international-transfer safeguards.

Abuse/security metadata

MOREWORK keeps short-lived API usage metadata containing business ID, user ID, usage type and timestamp to prevent excessive automated use. No prompt, customer message, vacancy text or Work Profile content is stored in that usage table. The current implementation prunes those usage events after seven days.

Third-party services and external sources

The final processor/source list should distinguish between services that process customer data for MOREWORK and external destinations/sources the customer chooses to use.

  • Hosting/database: production Vercel/Supabase configuration.
  • Payments: Stripe when paid checkout is used.
  • AI: configured OpenAI services for bounded AI features.
  • Publishing: only connected/authorised social or business-profile providers selected for the approved marketing job.
  • Find Work: connected vacancy APIs/feeds and allow-listed public specialist job-board discovery. Customers should check the original vacancy source before applying.
  • Email/communications: name the provider once production support/transactional email is locked.

Likely purposes / lawful-basis structure for final privacy review

This section is a drafting map, not a final legal determination.

  • Provide the requested MOREWORK service, account, trial, AI features, marketing workflow and Find Work tools — likely contractual necessity where applicable.
  • Keep the service secure, prevent abuse, diagnose failures and maintain limited audit evidence — likely legitimate interests, balanced against customer privacy.
  • Administer invoices, payments, taxation and other legally required records — legal obligation where applicable.
  • Optional marketing/news communication should have an appropriate consent/soft-opt-in basis and a clear unsubscribe mechanism.

Customer rights / controls to explain clearly

  • Access, correction, deletion/restriction, objection and portability rights where applicable under UK GDPR.
  • How to close an account and what data cannot immediately be erased because of legal/security record-keeping duties.
  • Specific in-product controls already available for clearing private Find Work profile/search/history data.
  • How to disconnect publishing accounts and stop future use of those authorisations.
  • How to contact MOREWORK for privacy requests and how to complain to the ICO.

Customer Terms — current product structure

  • Customer must provide accurate business/job/profile information and have the rights/permissions needed for uploaded media.
  • Customer remains responsible for checking marketing accuracy before approval and for choosing publishing destinations.
  • Find Work is an assistance/search feature: vacancies can change or expire, source data may be incomplete and MOREWORK does not guarantee suitability, employment or engagement.
  • Application Helper produces an editable draft only; the customer checks the original vacancy and decides what to submit.
  • Connected third-party services can fail, change APIs/terms or reject content. MOREWORK should report failures clearly rather than promise guaranteed publication/search coverage.
  • AI can make mistakes. Product safeguards reduce unsupported claims, but customers should review material decisions and externally submitted content.
  • The seven-day standard trial requires no card; plan price, allowances and cancellation terms must be shown before paid purchase.
  • MOREWORK must not guarantee leads, revenue, search rankings, job offers or uninterrupted service availability.
  • Liability caps/exclusions, suspension, termination, intellectual-property licences, governing law and dispute wording require final legal review.

AI Receptionist / phone service

The phone/receptionist service is deliberately outside the current standard trial and first non-phone launch. Provider-neutral tables and technical foundations exist, but final phone terms/privacy wording should be completed only when the provider, number ownership/portability, call notice/recording position, included minutes, overage and retention rules are locked. Raw call audio/full transcripts are not intended to be persisted by default.

Details still needed before publishing final legal pages

  • Legal identity: the company/sole-trader name that contracts with the customer.
  • Business/postal address: correspondence address for terms/privacy/company information.
  • Support & privacy email: dedicated MOREWORK contact address(es).
  • General retention schedule: exact retention periods for closed-account data, job media, leads, approvals/audit records, billing/support records and backups. The seven-day API-usage metadata period is already defined.
  • Production processor list: final hosting, database, AI, payments, transactional email and publishing suppliers/sub-processors.
  • International transfers: document the appropriate safeguards for any processor/data flow outside the UK.
  • Cancellation/refund position: confirm access after cancellation, treatment of unused subscription time and any refund rules.
  • Cookie/analytics position: confirm whether optional analytics/marketing technologies will be used and implement consent where required.

This is a product-readiness drafting document, not legal advice. Final customer-facing documents should be reviewed against the production service and UK law before paid scale-up.
